The Digital Content Services Center of Excellence at GPC is offering a 2018 Strategy Analyst Intern role on the customer experience team. As a Strategy Intern focused on digital improvement and trend analysis, you will have the exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver on strategies by using market intelligence and insights to influence the digital operations of a Fortune 200 company.

The Intern will be responsible for assisting with multiple projects in any function, process, or business unit within the Company. While the Intern will report through the GPC Digital Content Services, throughout the internship, the Intern will be exposed to several other departments within the organization and may be required to assist in other areas as necessary.


  • Currently pursuing a BS or BA in Computer Science, Business, Marketing, Retail, English or Psyychology

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills

  • Graphic design experience is a plus 

  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Java, Javascript, and jQuery

  • Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Possess confidence, flexibility and be a team player

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at once and prioritize work

  • Ability to communicate with individuals across all levels of the organization

  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail

  • Overall grade point average of at least 2.75

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel)

  • Strong work ethic


  • Investigation of direction-setting market trends, consumer behaviors, and competitive analysis for digital projects impacting all divisions of Genuine Parts Company

  • Perform continuous measurements of market opportunities and trends across industries to drive improvements in customer experience that translate into business growth

  • Synthesize data into information from intelligence gathering and customer engagement, creating succinct findings and communicating them to implementation teams and senior management in status meetings
