The Enterprise Information Management (EIM) intern will gain valuable experience in our APG IT EIM team buildout, while organizing & flushing out documentation. This position includes an introduction and exposure in the development of dash boards, reports with Graphs with Java J2EE technologies. Also Provide the business access to strategic data assets not currently available for analysis.


Responsibilities

The main responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Perform data analysis and profiling

  • Collaborate with business users to identify and document data requirements

  • Ingest strategic data assets into the data analysis platform

  • Partner with business users to perform analysis

  • Provide daily support and troubleshooting as needed.

  • Proactively monitor network devices, taking appropriate action using well documented processes.

  • Document process & procedures

  • Other duties as assigned.

 


Qualifications

  • Working on a BS or BA degree in a computer related field
  • Visio, Excel, Powerpoint and Web Presentation HTML experience
  • Windows and/or UNIX/Linux
  • Experience in Java or equivalent programming language; Database experience
  • Scripting experience would be helpful - Powershell/Python/Perl
  • 1+ year Technology experience as a user
  • Sharepoint experience a plus
  • Must have excellent communication skills and good corporate etiquette
  • Must be able to take direction and demonstrate initiative for assigned tasks
  • Must be a team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
